SingTel is majority owned by Temasek Holdings.  The rest of the shares are in public hands.

The SingTel Group has subsidiaries whose businesses include mobile phone, paging, Internet, IT consultancy services, investments, repair of submarine cables and sale of telecommunications equipment.

SingTel also has interests in several communications companies outside Singapore. The SingTel Group (including SingTel Optus) has a total staff strength of about 20,000, headed by its Group Chief Executive Officer, Chua Sock Koong.
