Overseas investments are an integral part of SingTel's strategy for long-term growth. The SingTel Group has expanded into overseas markets, with current investments in over 20 countries and territories. As at 31 March 2007, proportionate EBITDA outside Singapore was 72 per cent. SingTel's focus is the Asia Pacific region, particularly in the core telecommunications businesses.  | Advanced Info Service (AIS) is the largest mobile communications operator in Thailand. As at 31 December 2007, it was the third largest listed company on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in terms of market capitalisation. AIS' total subscriber case grew by 24 per cent or 4.7 million from a year ago to 24.2 million as at 31 December 2007. It continued to lead the market with approximately 46% market share.

| APT Satellite primarily provides high quality satellite transponder and telecommunications services for the international and Asia Pacific broadcasting and telecommunications sectors. It currently operates five in-orbit satellites, APSTAR I, APSTAR IA, APSTAR IIR, APSTAR V and APSTAR VI through its own satellite control centre in Tai Po, Hong Kong. SingTel has committed to lease six transponders on the APSTAR V satellite. |

| Bharti Telecom Group (Bharti) is India's leading private sector provider of telecommunications services offering mobile, fixed-line, long distance, broadband and enterprise services. It is listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Stock Exchange, Mumbai and is the only private telecom operator with an 'all India' presence offering mobile services in all 23 licensed circles. Bharti is the market leader in India with 32.0 per cent of the GSM market and 23.6 per cent of the total wireless market.
Bharti continued to see record mobile subscriber growth. For the quarter ended 31 December 2007, it added 6.3 million mobile subscribers. With this, it has enlarged its total subscriber base to 55.2 million (or 57.3 million if its fixed line subscribers were included).
|  | Globe Telecom (Globe) is one of the largest mobile communications services providers in the Philippines. It is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange. Globe added 1.1 million net mobile subscribers in the quarter ending 31 December 2007, bringing its total subscriber base to 20.3 million, up 30 per cent or 15.7 million from a year ago.
With the rollout of Globe Mobile Broadband 3G in April 2006 with HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access, commonly referred to as '3.5G') technology, Globe is the first mobile operator to make 3G services available in the Philippines and also the first operator in Asia Pacific to introduce 3G with HSDPA capabilities to the general public. |

Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Limited (PBTL), is the only CDMA operator in Bangladesh. As at 31 December 2007, PBTL's total mobile subscriber base was 1.4 million, up 30 per cent or 326,000 from a year ago. Compared to the previous quarter, the increase was 87,000 subscribers.

| PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) is the leading operator of cellular telecommunications services in Indonesia with over 20,000 radio base stations providing nationwide coverage.
Telkomsel added 3.4 million in net new subscribers in the quarter ended 31 December 2007, bringing its total subscriber base to 47.9 million, representing an increase of nearly 12 million or 35 per cent from a year ago. It has a market share of 52 per cent as at 31 December 2007.
|  | Warid Telecom is one of the fastest-growing telecommunications companies in Pakistan. The company launched its services in Pakistan in May 2005. It has a 15-year licence to operate GSM-based mobile services in Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and the Northern areas. As at 31 December 2007, it has 13.2 million in reported subscriber numbers. |
