Call Duration Advice

If you'll like to know the call duration of the IDD 001 call immediately after completing the call, you can use SingTel's IDD 004 service. Simply replace 001 with 004 when you are dialling to the overseas number and hang up the phone after you've completed the call. A voice recorded call will be made to you promptly to inform you of the duration of the overseas call you have just made.

IDD 004 allows you to enjoy the same high quality clarity and reliable connection as IDD 001. There are no additional charges for IDD 004 service, and the international call rates are the same as for IDD 001.

Your phone line will automatically have IDD 004 service if it is activated with SingTel's IDD service. For more information, please call 104.

Calling to Indonesian Border Towns

You can enjoy an easier way of dialling to Indonesian Border Towns with SingTel's 011 service. Whenever you call to telephone numbers in Batam, Samarinda, Pekanbaru and Tanjung Pinang zones, you only need to dial 011 followed by the area code and telephone number. You do not need to dial the Indonesian country code.

SingTel Indonesian Border Town service 011 provides the same high quality connections and clarity as the IDD 001 service. There are no additional charges for this service.

*Note that this service cannot be used for calls to Indonesian Mobile line numbers.

Inmarsat and Iridium Satellite services

SingTel IDD 001 service allows customers to make calls to remote regions where telecommunications infrastructure is non-existent (eg. ships plying in the middle of the ocean).  Ships and landmobiles equipped with Inmarsat A, B, M, Mini M, GAN, Fleet or Iridium teminals can be contacted easily using SingTel's international telephone/fax service.
