| Q. | Does filtering service slow down my Internet access? |
| A. | Not really. Technically, there will definitely be a lag because the information from the Internet has to go through an additional barrier - the SingNet web content filter. However, the lag is in the order of milli-seconds because SingNet has a very high-speed connection to the Internet. One milli second is 1/1000 of a second, so imagine that! You can hardly notice the difference, even with extensive usage. |

| A. | Supplementary Email Account users will need to login with the main SingNet BroadBand account. As this SNBB account has filtering service, the supplementary email account users' access will be filtered as well. |

| A. | SingNet tries as hard as possible to ensure that users who opt for filtering service be surfing in a safe, family-friendly environment. However, we do understand that everyday, new undesirable sites do pop up. Hence, we require our subscriber’s assistance to report any undesirable sites to us, which we will review and subsequently block if they are deemed undesirable. The list managed by SingNet and the vendor is based on criteria drawn up from consultation with and feedback from parents. The main objective is to provide a safe Internet surfing environment for children. |

| A. | The list of sites to be filtered is mainly from a US firm whose core business is to track and consolidate a list of such sites for ISPs around the world. SingNet also accepts feedback from parents or the public. If the sites fit the profile, SingNet will add the sites to the list. |

| A. | No. SingNet BroadBand subscribers with filtering service enabled using 56K dial-up account will still dial-in (Dial-in number: 17135) and the proxy settings remain the same as what the subscriber has set for the BroadBand access filtering. |
