1. Logging in to Filtering Service 1) When the FOL customer first opens a browser window to access Internet, he will be prompted to login to the Filtering Service. If the customer is logging in as a “parent”, then the login ID is “userid@singnet” (where “userid” is same as the SingNet ID). If the customer is logging in as a “child”, then the login ID is “childID” (without the “@singnet”). 
Open browser to login to Filtering Service 2) Upon log in, customer will see their browser homepage and a top frame. If customer is a “parent”, they can manage their child accounts by clicking on the link “manage kids” in the top frame. If customer is a “child”, then he will not see the “manage kids” link.

1) When a “parent” customer clicks on the “manage kids” link in the top frame, he will see the account administration page as shown. In this page, the “parent” can manage the “child” accounts, access the reports on how the family’s Internet usage patterns and view the Help file.

3. Managing Kids accounts 1) By clicking on the “Click here” link, the “parent” can create / delete “child” accounts, limited to up to 6 child accounts for each “parent” / SingNet service subscriber. He can also edit the filtering control settings (“viewable content settings”).

4. Creating a Child Account 1) To create a child account, input the child “Username” e.g. boy10 and “Enter New Password”, note that password has to be alphanumeric only with minimum of four (4) characters. 2) Select the “Login image” to be the “boy10” icon by clicking on the radio button. 
3) Parent can edit the filtering control settings and set a profile for each child account. After editing the filtering control settings, scroll down the page and click on the “OK” button. 
5. Deleting and Editing a Child Account 1) To delete or edit a child account, click on the icon of the child account you wish to manage, e.g. “boy10”. 
2) The screen will display the “Editing user boy10” profile page. 
3.1 To edit a child profile, parent can add or change the level of access for the following categories:- a. Maximum Viewable Content Levels b. Restricted Categories
3.2 After profile is changed, select the “OK” button 

4.1 To delete a child profile, select the “Delete the User” button. 
4.2 Click on 'Yes', remove boy10 from from the system to confirm deletion. 
4.3 Click on “here” to return to home page. 
4.4 Child account “boy10” has been deleted. 
6. Accessing Reports on Internet usage patterns 1) By clicking on the “Reports” icon on the left panel, the “parent” can access the reports of how the child’s Internet usage pattern is like. Reporting is available for each child profile and includes: - Web Traffic – a simple graph of the number of websites visited per day.
- Filter actions – a simple graph listing the number of websites allowed and the number blocked each week.

Reports on Internet filter actions 7. Invalid Login 1) If a parent login the wrong userid or password for forget the password after 3 attempts, the below error message will appear. The “Useful Tips” in this error message page, user can access the followings:- a. Help file b. User Guide c. Enquiries contact numbers

2) If user forgot their password, he can click on “here” to access to the website to request for a new password. 
3) Click on the link below if user forgot their password. 
4) Input the userid and click on “send” 5) A new password generated and sent to user via email. 
8. To Report Inappropriate Website 1) To report any inappropriate or undesirable website to SingNet for review, click on “here” in the below web page.
2) Parent to key in the website URL and select “Submit Form”. Note that only request from valid SingNet FOL main subscriber email address will be reviewed by SingNet before we add it to the lists of blocked sites 
9. Viewing Help 1) By clicking on the “Help” icon on the left panel, customers can access the Help / User guide to this service. 
Viewing Online Help 10. Access Denied 1) If a “child” tries to access a website that is rated as not suitable for viewing under the filtering settings / profiles for that account, he will see an “Access Denied” page as shown. 
Access Denied page 2) If the “child” has to access the blocked site for certain reasons, the “parent” can override the filtering settings and grant exceptional temporarily access to the blocked website by entering the “parent” ID and password and selecting the time period (15 min, 30 min or 60 min) to grant the “child” access to the site. When override is successful, customer can click on the link to go the website that is now temporarily allowed access.
