| Home Wireless Surf is SingNet’s Wireless BroadBand Service for homes. With this service and the wireless equipment, you can access the internet any where within your home without being restricted by the length of your telephone and modem cables.

6. | I just paid for the hardware package at one of the listed store, who will bring the hardware package to my premises? |
| The installer will bring the hardware package to your premises during the appointment. However, the additional items that you have purchased from the hello shops and dealers will have to be cash and carry. Please inform the installer on the additional hardware that you have purchased during the installation.

8. | As a new SingNet BroadBand customer, do I still get a free USB modem? |
| No, as a new customer you are paying a promotional price for the Home Wireless Surf package.

9. | When will the hardware vendor install the wireless equipment and how long is the installation? |
| The installation is done during office hours. It is usually done 5 days after the purchase of the service. You will be billed for the broadband service from the day the equipment is successfully installed. The whole installation should not exceed 2 hours.

10. | What will be covered in the installation? |
| The installer will install the hardware if the customer has purchased from the Hello Shop or SingNet Authorised retailers. He will also install the drivers in the desktop or notebook and test the Internet access.
The installer will not install casing for cables or drill holes in walls to push the wires to another room. If such wiring is required, you may make ask the installer to recommend a wiring contractor to do the job.

11. | What if the wireless equipment is faulty? |
| The installer will replace the equipment and restore the service within 7 working days from the time of successful installation if the fault is due to manufacturing defect of the equipment, configuration problem not created by customer, non-virus related and non-peripheral related problem.
The wireless equipment comes with a 12 months warranty. If the fault arises after 7 working days from the date of installation, the customer will have to bring the faulty equipment to the installer for Servicing. [ back to top ] |
12. | Can I change the appointment date? |
| You can change the appointment date by calling “1610” at least two days before the appointment day. If the change is made less than 2 working days before the appointment, a charge of $31.50 is levied. If the change is made on the installation day a visit charge of $52.50 is payable. 13. | Can I cancel the application? |
| Yes you can. There will be no refund on the equipment which you have purchased. The equipment will be delivered to your home on the agreed appointment date and time. There will also be a charge of $168 administraton fee if the cancellation is before the day of installation. If the cancellation is on or after the day of installation, early termination charges will be levied.

| You are responsible to ensure that your PC meet the minimum requirement specified on the Application Form and the Wireless agreement T&Cs. You will be required to upgrade your PC and a 2nd appointment will be made and it is chargeable at $52.50. [ back to top ] |
15. | I use wireless LAN in my office? Can I use the same wireless LAN card at home? |
| Yes, if your wireless LAN card conforms to IEEE 802.11b or Wifi standards. You can create a separate profile to your wireless LAN card. [ back to top ]
