In-flight Roaming Service is co-provided by The Connexion by Boeing. Due to business reasons, The Connexion by Boeing has decided to discontinue offering the service. Hence, SingNet has to terminate the service. - Will there be any upcoming service to replace In-flight Roaming Service?

All airlines currently offering Connexion by Boeing are affected. Those airlines are: ANA, Asiana Airlines, EI AI, Etihad Airways, JAL, Korean Air, Lufthansa, SAS, and Singapore Airlines. - Which group of customers will be affected?
All SingNet customers, who used to access internet service onboard Boeing, will be affected. - When is the last day of service?
The Connexion by Boeing will discontinue service with effect from GMT: 31Dec2006 0000hrs. Therefore, SingNet will stop the service with effect from Singapore time: 31Dec2006 (Sunday) 0800hrs. - What is the impact on customers’ bills?
As of 1st September, 2006, customers will no longer be charged for this service until the service is terminated.

All SingNet subscribers can use the Connexion by Boeing service on selected Boeing flights. - How does the service work?
SingNet customer can now log in and out as many times as he likes during the flight segment. A flight segment represents the flying time between two stops. If a customer has a layover with or without plane change, he enters a new flight segment. - How do I check on which flights is this service available?
You can check the service availability on http://www.connexionbyboeing.com. - Why does SingNet offer this service?
SingNet recognizes the need of our customers to be connected anywhere. Hence SingNet is working with Connexion Boeing to enable our SingNet customers to be connected in the air on selected Boeing flights. - What are the minimum hardware and software requirements to access this service?
You need a laptop with an operating system of Microsoft Windows 98 or higher and an 802.11b wireless card or a laptop enabled with Intel Centrino wireless client. For Macintosh laptop, you will require to have Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X and Open Transport 2.6.
In addition, you need a Microsoft Internet browser 5.0 or higher with SSL and JavaScript enabled or Netscape Navigator 6 or higher with SSL and JavaScript enabled. - Do I need to make any settings in my laptop?
Many newer operating systems on your laptop will automatically search for the right configuration for you to access wirelessly using the right SSID. If not, you might need to set your SSID to Connexion1. - What is the id and password that I use to login wirelessly?
You key in your SingNet ID and password at the Connexion by Boeing Air portal. - What can I do if I encounter problems?
