How does hi!Card work? To make or receive calls, simply slot your hi!Card into your mobile phone as instructed in your mobile phone operational manual. If your hi!Card has zero value, you'll need to top up the value of your hi!Card with your Top Up card.
back to top How do I check the balance in my account and when will I know that the value in my hi!Card is low? You can check your hi!Card account balance by following one of the steps: - Method 1 Call 9676-7777 (toll-free) and press 1 to hear your balance. - Method 2 Make an outgoing call and your balance will be announced before your call is connected or when you allow the other party to end the call first.

How do I top up my hi!Card? To top up your hi!Card, simply purchase a Top Up Card from any authorised dealers. Our Top Up Cards are available in $15, $25 and $50 denominations. The top up procedure is as follows: 1. Dial 9676-7777 (toll-free) from your mobile phone with the hi!Card inserted in it. 2. Press 2 to top up. 3. Wait for the voice prompt and then enter the 10-digit Top Up Card number printed on the reverse side of your Top Up Card. 4. When prompted, scratch off the golden foil on the reverse side of your Top Up card to reveal a 6-digit PIN. Enter your PIN. 5. You will hear the new top up value of your hi!Card on your mobile phone. You can call in to top up even when your hi!Card value is zero. Your mobile phone number will remain unchanged after top up so you can be contacted at the same number at all times.
Alternatively, you can top up your hi!Card via any of the Self-service Automated Machines (SAM), DBS/POSB ATMs or AXS Stations located conveniently around Singapore!
You can also top up via the Internet if you have an Internet Banking account with DBS, UOB or Citibank.
For Top-Up via SAM, just press the "Top Up or Purchase Telecommunication Services" button, then select "hi!Card". For DBS/POSB ATMs, select [Cash Card/Others], followed by [Loan/Other Services]. Then select [SingTel Services] to top-up your hi!Card. Choose the desired amount from a choice of $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, $150 or $200, and make your payment through NETs. It's that easy!
For top up via Internet, simply go to www.vpost.com.sg and select on Pay Bill option followed by hi!Card top-up. The amount will be deducted from your DBS, UOB or Citibank Internet Banking account. First time users need to register with VPost to obtain user ID and password.
back to top Will I have a mobile phone number? Each hi!Card comes with a unique and personal mobile phone number. Once you have registered, this mobile phone number will be yours. It will be maintained in the hi!Card system as long as you have topped up your hi!Card every 180 days. Your hi!Card mobile number remains unchanged after you have topped up the value. If your hi!Card has not been topped up within the last 180 days, your hi!Card will be de-activated and the value in your hi!Card will be forfeited.

For IDD calls, you"ll be charged at SingTel's IDD rates plus the hi!Card local talktime charges. For v019 calls, you’ll be charged at SingTel’s v019 rates plus the hi!Card local talktime charges. back to top My GSM900 hi!Card is blocked. Can I get a zero value GSM900 hi!Card without a Top Up card? No, the GSM900 hi!Card is sold as a bundle with a Top Up Card. If you have blocked your GSM900 hi!Card, you will have to buy another bundle comprising of a new hi!Card and Top Up card from any authorised dealer.
We can top up your new GSM900 hi!Card with the outstanding amount in your blocked card. You cannot purchase a GSM900 hi!Card alone. Nor is the GSM900 hi!Card for sale, since it carries no card value.
back to top Is there an expiry date on my hi!Card or Top Up card? The hi!Card must be topped up every 180 days, otherwise, the hi!Card will be deactivated and the value in the hi!Card will be forfeited.
Top Up cards also have an expiry date printed on the back of the card. The card is not valid and cannot be used after the expiry.

back to top What happens if I send an SMS and my recipient's mobile phone is switched off? Once you send an SMS, the charges will be deducted from your hi!Card and the SMS will be processed. We will attempt to send the SMS for over 24 hours. If your recipient is still unreachable, the SMS charges still apply.

What if I try to send an SMS but my hi!Card balance has insufficient value? If your hi!Card balance is insufficient when you send an SMS, you will receive a return message informing you so, on your mobile phone. You will need to send your SMS again after you have topped up your hi!Card.

Your message will be delivered by SingTel Mobile to the SingTel Mobile/M1/StarHub SMS Centre. For hi!Card SMS sent to M1/StarHub mobile customer, M1/StarHub will further process the SMS for delivery to their subscribers respectively.

Please ensure that you have sufficient balance in your hi!Card before you send a picture message to another mobile phone user. Charges are based on the total number of SMS sent successfully.

If the hi!Card is not topped up, an investigation on the NETS transaction will be performed. If the NETS transaction is unsuccessful, your bank account will not be deducted.

You only need to pay for the usage time at $0.22 for 1st minute and $0.022 for subsequent 6-sec blocks. If you dialed an IDD number, the prevailing IDD rate applies in addition to the above charges.

You cannot retain your mobile phone number when you purchase a new hi!Card, as each card has been coded with the pairing of a unique mobile phone number tagged with the Prepaid SIM serial number. Therefore the old hi!Card mobile number cannot be retained on a new hi!Card.
