Topping up your SingTel Prepaid Mobile Card with Merchant2U is quick and easy.


1. Who is eligible to purchase top-up value via Merchant2U service?
All active SingTel Mobile prepaid customers are eligible to purchase top-up value via this service.

2. How does this service work?
If you need to top-up card value to your existing prepaid mobile number, you can just approach the merchant with Merchant2U Service. You will receive a top-up confirmation via SMS directly on your mobile phone after the merchant has transferred the requested top-up value to your mobile number.

You can also top-up your family members' or friend's SingTel Mobile prepaid account. You can view the confirmation for the transaction via the SMS received on the merchant mobile phone. Alternatively, you can also check with your family member or friend on the receipt of the top-up confirmation SMS.

3. What is the top-up value per transaction?
You can choose to top up the desired amount of $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, $45, $50 or $28, where $28 is a SUPER HOT$128 top-up.

4. Is there a limit to the number of Top-Ups I can purchase per day?
No, there is no limit.

5. How do I know what is my new prepaid account expiry date after doing a Top-Up?
You will receive a notification SMS indicating the sender's mobile number, the amount sent to your account, your new balance as well as your expiry date.

6. Will I be charged for each successful Merchant2U Top-Up?
No, there will not be any additional fees for the service. You only need to pay the merchant the requested amount (which is inclusive of GST) for each successful top-up. The confirmation message will indicate your new balance after the successful top-up transaction.

7. Is there a registration fee for this service?
No. There is no registration required for this service. You can purchase the top-up value directly from any authorized shop with Merchant2U service and receive the top-up to your prepaid mobile account instantly.

8. Is there a monthly subscription for this service?
No. There is no monthly subscription for this service.

9. Are the SMS messages received chargeable?
No, the SMS messages received under Merchant2U service is free of charge.

10. I am purchasing the top-up value for a SingTel Mobile prepaid subscriber. Why is the transaction unsuccessful?
The possible reasons could be:-
1. The prepaid account may have been expired or terminated.
2. The recipient's prepaid service may be not activated. Activation here means that the prepaid account has performed activation via 9676 7777.

11. How will I know if the top-up transaction via Merchant2U has been successful?
A confirmation SMS will be sent to the merchant and the recipient to notify both parties that the transaction has been successful.

12. How can I seek help related to Merchant2U service?
You can call our Customer Service Officers on our hi!Card hotline at 1800-482-2800.

13. Can I use this service to top up my other prepaid cards offered by other operators?
Merchant2U Top-Up is only available to SingTel Mobile Prepaid customers only.

14. Can I use this service but charged to my credit card accounts or my SingTel residential account?
No, the purchase of top up value under Merchant2U service is strictly on cash upfront between SingTel authorized merchant & SingTel prepaid card customer.

15. Will I be able to use this service round the clock?
Yes, this service is available 24-hours for both the Merchant and SingTel prepaid card customer.

16. Can I still top up my hi!Card, hello!Mobile Card or Kababayan SIM using physical Top-up Cards/or via SAM/ATM or via the Internet after using this service?
Yes, you can still choose to top up using other alternative top-up modes after using this service to top up.

17. Can I send prepaid value using Merchant2U Top-Up to my friend who is roaming overseas?
Yes. If you are in Singapore, you will be able to use Merchant2U Top-up to send prepaid value to your friend who is roaming overseas.

18. Can I still receive the top-up prepaid value when my mobile phone is switched off?
Yes. You will be able to receive the top-up value when your mobile phone is switched off. But you are advised to check and confirm that you have received the correct top-up value as soon as possible to avoid any dispute.
