Is this service available to all SingTel Mobile customers?

This service is available to the following group of customers roaming overseas:

• AutoRoam customers

• Pay-As-U-Roam customers

• Prepaid Roaming customers

To access, simply key:

You will then receive an interactive menu with a list of roaming services/information available in the visited destination.  Simply reply with the option number and the requested information will be sent to your mobile phone via SMS.

• GlobalDial 121 - provides information on GlobalDial 121’s calling instructions and the supported network(s) of the visited destination.

• Local Direct Dial – provides information on Local Direct Dial’s calling instructions and the supported network of the visited destination.

• MMS Roaming – provides information on  MMS Roaming and the supported network(s) of the visited destination.

• Mobile Internet Access – provides information on  GPRS Roaming and the supported network(s) of the visited destination as well as information on SingTel IDEAS.

• *SEND Roam – provides *SEND services such as information on Lottery, Finance and Sports.

• Tourist Info – provides information on *188 service and the supported network of the visited destination.

• Exchange Rate – provides information on the buying rate of the visited destination for roaming customers to use as a reference.

• Hotline – provides hotline numbers for SingTel Mobile Customer Service and VoiceMail service.

• Calling Instructions – provides information on Pay-As-U-Roam’s calling instructions and the supported network(s) of the visited destination.

• MMS Roaming – provides information on MMS Roaming and the supported network(s) of the visited destination.

• Mobile Internet Access - provides information on GPRS Roaming and the supported network(s) of the visited destination as well as information on SingTel IDEAS.

• *SEND Roam - provides *SEND services such as information on Lottery, Finance and Sports.

• Exchange Rate - provides information on the buying rate of the visited destination for roaming customers to use as a guide.

• Hotline - provides hotline numbers for SingTel Mobile Customer Service and VoiceMail service.

It is possible that your handset does not support the Roaming Guide. Alternatively, you could be roaming on a network that does not support the Roaming Guide.

You will receive an error message “Sorry, your request is unsuccessful as the network does not support this service.”

You will not be charged for accessing the Roaming Guide, except for triggering *SEND Roam requests. 

For *SEND Roam, we are pleased to inform that you can save by using the Roaming Guide as compared to the conventional way of making *SEND requests via SMS when overseas. 

• AutoRoam customers: Local *SEND rate plus a 15-cent roaming surcharge per request.
• Pay-As-U-Roam customers: Local *SEND rate plus a 18-cent roaming surcharge per request.
• Prepaid Roaming customers: Local *SEND rate plus a 15-cent roaming surcharge per request.
