Useful Tips while Roaming With SingTel Mobile AutoRoam services, you can now make and receive calls on your mobile phone while overseas. With it, you can stay in touch whenever you travel. And your friends need not even know that you are away. This service simply re-routes your calls from Singapore to your mobile phones* wherever you are.
* AutoRoam Re-routed calls are subjected to Pick & Roam.
Ensure that you apply for our AutoRoam service by calling our 24 hours Customer Service Hotline at 1626 (toll-free with no local airtime charges if call locally) or +65 67380123 (if call from overseas).
Ensure that you can always recharge your used battery. It is advisable to bring along a world traveller plug as some countries power sockets may be different from those used in Singapore.
To call home speedily, you may wish to store ‘+65’ followed by your family and friends’ phone numbers in your phone book.
Do remember to switch off your mobile phone when you board the plane.
When you arrive
- Perform network selection

| 1. | Automatic Selection Once you switch on your mobile phone at your roaming destination, it will automatically search and connect you to the foreign network with the strongest signal. Your mobile phone will display the foreign network’s name or code once the connection is successful.

| 2. | Manual Selection If you wish to select your preferred network, you will need to set your mobile phone to manual mode and it will display the available overseas operator’s networks in that area. Please refer to the user guide of your mobile phone on how to carry out the manual selection.

Loss of Mobile Phone/Rented Phone/SIM Card while Roaming
If you have lost your mobile phone/rented phone/SIM card while roaming, you should immediately terminate your mobile line to prevent unauthorized calls and incur unnecessary charges.
