You would need a minimum balance of $8.00 before you can use the Prepaid Roaming service. Making Calls While Roaming Overseas Calling Singapore: - If the number has been successfully sent, your phone will display the below message:
"Thank you. Please wait while we connect your call". | - Wait for your phone to ring. | - Answer the call, and you will automatically be connected to the party you wish to speak to.
(Note: Charging begins once the called party picks up the call.) | - If the party is unavailable, a message will be sent to you and you won't be billed for unsuccessful calls. | - A minimum call credit of S$8.00 is required to make outgoing calls overseas. |
Calling other countries: To re-dial your last called number: To re-dial any of your last few called numbers: Dial       | - Upon successful completion, your phone will display a list of your last called numbers. 
| - Select Answer/Reply/Edit and reply with your option, e.g. '1' to re-dial phone number 65 64567890. Please note that charges will be imposed only upon successful call connection. There are no additional charges for using the re-dial function: *131# or *131*0#. Receiving Calls while Roaming Overseas
There are no special procedures involved in answering a call in Singapore or overseas. Simply answer the call as you would normally. Sending SMS while Roaming Overseas To send an SMS to your friend in Singapore, simply follow the steps below: Step 1 Go to 'To compose message' Step 2 Press 'SEND' Step 3 Key < tel. no. >e.g. 91234567 Step 4 Press 'OK' To send an SMS (Global SMS) to your overseas friend who subscribes to an overseas operator, simply follow the steps below: Step 1 Go to to compose message Step 2 Press 'SEND' Step 3 Key <+> < country code >< tel. no. >eg. +852 12345678 (Note : Message without the '+' sign will not be sent successfully.) Step 4 Press 'OK' Call Credit Announcements
Upon completion of each successful call, a message will be sent to you, informing you of your call credit balance and expiry date. Topping up while roaming overseas Via Top-Up Card:
To top up your hiCard/hello!Mobile Card while overseas, first purchase a Top-Up Card before leaving Singapore. Then top up as per method below: Dial  <10-digit top-up card number><6-digit pin no.> Please note:
1) Upon successful completion, you will receive the message "Top up value: $X, New balance : $X, Expiry date dd/mm/yy"
2) This top-up service is not chargeable.
3) Each time your hi!Card/hello!Mobile Card is being topped up, the expiry date of the card will be extended by another 180 days from the date of top up. Via Roaming Virtual Top-up:
You can now send a FREE pre-set SMS to inform your friend or family member in Singapore to top up your hi!Card/hello!Mobile Card on your behalf when you are roaming overseas. With Roaming Virtual Top-up service, you don't have to carry extra top-up cards with you any more! To use Roaming Virtual Top-up when roaming overseas: Dial    < tel. no. > Example:
If you are sending a Roaming Virtual Top-up SMS to mobile no. 91111111, Dial  The recipient will then receive the following message:
"Hi, I am overseas now & my hi!Card balance is low. Please help me top up $15 to my hi!Card 91234567 by calling 1900-9141488 on your home line. Thank you." Upon successful top-up, you will receive the following message:
"Your balance has been topped up. New balance $X, Expiry date dd/mm/yy. Sending a Safe Arrival SMS while roaming overseas You can now send a pre-set SMS to inform your loved ones that you have arrived safely at an overseas destination. To send a Safe Arrival SMS while roaming overseas:
