Value Added Services - Bid for Golden Number

Both existing and non mobile owners are eligible to bid for these mobile numbers under the Golden Number Scheme.


Specific Terms and Conditions on Right of Use of Telephone, Mobile Phone and OneNumber Numbers Obtained Under the Golden Number Scheme
 
1. Telephone Numbers
 a.Within fourteen (14) days of obtaining the Golden Number under the Golden Number Scheme, the Customer shall activate and use the Golden Number at the installation address stipulated by the Customer at the time of obtaining the Golden number.  If the Customer fails to use the Golden Number within the said fourteen (14) days, the Customer shall pay SingTel a monthly reservation fees as may be prescribed by SingTel for a period of twelve (12) months with effect from a date fourteen (14) days after the date of obtaining the Golden Number.  If the Golden Number is not used after the expiry of the aforesaid twelve (12) months period, the Customer shall cease to have the right of use of such number and SingTel shall have the absolute right to deal with such number as it deems appropriate without being liable to the Customer in damages or otherwise and there shall be no refund of the amount paid by the Customer for the said Golden Number.
 b.In the event that the Customer desires to relocate or re-install the telephone line which is used for the Golden Number to another location and retain the Golden Number then the Customer shall pay SingTel the prescribed one-time removal and other one-time charges and shall also pay the prescribed recurring monthly rental for the number retention in addition to the monthly rental of the telephone line at the new location.
 c.The Customer may transfer the Golden Number to another person (transferee) only if the Customer has activated and used the Golden Number and not otherwise.
 d.Other than the right to use the Golden Number, the Customer shall not acquire any right or interest in the Golden Number notwithstanding the duration for which the number may have been assigned to or used by the Customer or any payment which may have been made by the Customer for the Golden Number.
e.SingTel reserves the right to change the Golden Number, without being liable to the Customer in damages or otherwise, if owing to any directions given by Info-Communications Development Authority of Singapore or any other regulatory authorities the Golden Number is required to be changed or if owing to any telecommunications network changes whether initiated by SingTel or otherwise, the Golden Number is required to be changed.
f.In addition to the terms and conditions contained herein, the Customer shall also be bound by SingTel's Specific Terms and Conditions relating to Fixed-Line Telephone Service in the SingTel website at www.singtel.com.

2.            

Mobile Phone Numbers
a.Within fourteen (14) days of obtaining the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number under the Golden Number Scheme, the Customer shall activate and use the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number.  If the Customer fails to use the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number within the said fourteen (14) days, the Customer shall pay Singapore Telecom Mobile Pte Ltd (SingTel Mobile) a monthly reservation fees as may be prescribed by SingTel Mobile for a period of twelve (12) months with effect from a date fourteen (14) days after the date of obtaining the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number.  If the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number is not used after the expiry of the aforesaid twelve (12) months period, the Customer shall cease to have the right of use of such number and SingTel Mobile shall have the absolute right to deal with such number as it deems appropriate without being liable to the Customer in damages or otherwise and there shall be no refund of the amount paid by the Customer for the said Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number.
b.The Customer may transfer the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number to another person (transferee) only if the Customer has activated a mobile line and used the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number and not otherwise.
c.SingTel Mobile shall assign the mobile phone system for use in connection with the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number and the Customer shall ensure that the mobile telephone equipment used by the Customer shall be compatible with the mobile phone system assigned by SingTel Mobile.
d.All mobile phones purchased and used in conjunction with the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number must be type approved by Info-Communications Development Authority of Singapore for use in Singapore
e.SingTel reserves the right to change the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number, without being liable to the Customer in damages or otherwise, if owing to any directions given by Info-Communications Development Authority of Singapore or any other regulatory authorities the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special Number is required to be changed or if owing to any telecommunications network changes whether initiated by SingTel or otherwise, the Titanium/Platinum/Golden/Special  Number is required to be changed.
f.In addition to the terms and conditions contained herein, the Customer shall also be bound by SingTel Mobile's Specific Terms and Conditions which is available for inspection at either www.singtel.com or SingTel Mobile's Customer Service Centre, 31B Exeter Road #01-00 Comcentre 2, Singapore 239733, during operational hours.
3.OneNumber
a.Within fourteen (14) days of obtaining the Golden Number under the Golden Number Scheme for OneNumber, the Customer shall activate and use the Golden Number.  If the Customer fails to use the Golden Number within the said fourteen (14) days, the Customer shall pay SingTel a monthly reservation fees as may be prescribed by SingTel for a period of twelve (12) months with effect from a date fourteen (14) days after the date of obtaining the Golden Number.  If the Golden Number is not used after the expiry of the aforesaid twelve (12) months period, the Customer shall cease to have the right of use of such  Golden Number and SingTel shall have the absolute right to deal with such Golden Number as it deems appropriate without being liable to the Customer in damages or otherwise and there shall be no refund of the amount paid by the Customer for the said Golden Number.
