| 1. | Why is SingTel offering Directory Assistance Connect and Directory Assistance SMS?
SingTel is offering Directory Assistance Connect and Directory Assistance SMS to further enhance the user experience of its Local Directory service.
SingTel Mobile customers now have the additional choices of connecting to the requested phone number directly or have the requested number sent via SMS. There is no need for him to dial the phone number manually in another call or write down the phone number.
If customers do not require the Directory Assistance Connect / Directory Assistance SMS service, they can just terminate the call after the system has read out the requested phone number.

| 2. | Are both Directory Assistance Connect and Directory Assistance SMS features offered to SingTel Mobile customers only?
Yes, only SingTel Mobile customers who dialed 100 are entitled to Directory Assistance Connect and SMS features. The requested number has to be a SingTel fixed line listed telephone number.

Currently, there is no limit on the conversation time, though airtime charges apply for mobile phone users.

| 5. | When will mobile airtime charging start?
Mobile phone customers will pay the prevailing airtime charge to their respective operators from the moment that they hear the SingTel Directory Assistance IVRS message, "Welcome to SingTel Directory Service" until the call has ended.

| 6. | Will I be notified of the charges before I use Call Connection and SMS requests?
SingTel Directory Assistance will announce the 21.40 cents per call connection and 10.70 cents per SMS charges just before you are given the instruction to select Option 1 for Directory Assistance Connect or Option 2 for Directory Assistance SMS.
If you do not wish to use Directory Assistance Connect or Directory Assistance SMS, just terminate the call after getting the requested phone listing.

SingTel does not provide Directory Assistance or Directory Assistance Connect / Directory Assistance SMS for an unlisted telephone number.

No, Directory Assistance Connect / Directory Assistance SMS is not available for the following numbers:
'3-digit or 4-digit codes (e.g. 1608, 1609, 1626)
'1900-xxx-xxxx
'Internet dial-up
overseas numbers

| 10. | Will I be charged for Directory Assistance Connect / Directory Assistance SMS to emergency numbers such as 999, 995 & 993?
No, you will not be charged, as SingTel does not provide directory assistance to these emergency numbers. Given the urgency of such requests, it will be faster for you to dial these numbers such as 999, 995 and 993 (for an ambulance to Tan Tock Seng Hospital) directly.

| 11. | How many attempts will be made to connect the call to the number?
There will be one call attempt. If the call is not answered after five rings, the caller will hear this announcement: "Sorry, we are unable to connect to Tel: 12345678."
The caller pays 74.90 cents for Directory Assistance and there is no charge for the unsuccessful call connection attempt.

The caller will hear an announcement: "Sorry, we are unable to connect to Tel: 12345678."
There is no charge for unsuccessful call attempt, only directory assistance fee of 74.90 cents per number.
