With effect from 13 June 2008, we are pleased to inform all customers that SingTel Mobile will support Full Mobile Number Portability system.

The current mobile number portability scheme is based on a call-forwarding solution where you keep two mobile numbers, i.e. (1) the original mobile number from M1/StarHub and (2) the new mobile number issued by SingTel Mobile. All calls and SMS will reflect your SingTel Mobile number on the recipient's phone. In addition, you are however unable to receive MMS on your original M1/StarHub number.

With Full Mobile Number Portability, you will get to retain full use of your existing mobile number even after port-in to SingTel Mobile. And you need not go through the hassle of informing your contacts of your mobile number.

Now that's more convenience at the touch of your fingertips.
