How to store your messages in your SIM card Pre-set messages or messages received not deleted are usually stored in your SIM card.
The number of short messages your SIM card can store depends on your SIM card memory capacity. Most SingTel Mobile SIM cards today can store you to 25 short messages.
You may wish to upgrade your SIM card capacity so that you may store more short messages. For details, please visit our Customer Services Centres. What should you do if you are unable to receive messages If you are unable to receive messages, check for the following: Check whether your SIM card memory is full. If so, please delete some old messages to provide more space. Check that the battery power is not depleted. Check whether your SIM card is inserted properly. Check if your handphone signal range has been blocked by high-rise buildings. Note: If your handphone is off, our Message Centre will continue to resend the message to you at regular intervals for up to 24 hours. However, if the receiving number is a pager number, the message will not be resent.
If a message is anticipated but has not been received, try turning the handphone off and on again. This way, your handphone will re-register with the network and the message will be automatically re-sent to you.
