You can also make calls to popular localities using the Public Directory such as hotels, government departments, hospitals, taxi hot-lines or SingTel services. For example, if you have a contact named "Ricky Tan" with mobile and office numbers stored in your personal address book, you can simply say "Ricky Tan" while you're in the ‘Make-a-call’ menu and the system will connect you to Ricky's mobile or office number depending on which number you've set as default.
Even if you want to make a call to someone or somewhere that is not in your address book or the public directory, you can do so by just saying the phone number directly (After selecting "Local number" in the ‘Make-a-call’ menu). Back to Top

The system is designed to cope with situation where if it cannot recognize your command the first time, it will try again, giving you more detailed instructions at the same time. If all else fails, you can always fall back to using the telephone keypad to select the options you want, when the system instructs you to. The system works best when it can hear you clearly. Avoid noisy places where even people have trouble understanding you like in front of the TV with high volume, move to a quieter place and try again. Speak naturally If you keep encountering situations where the system just could not recognize what you said, we apologize in advance for the frustration and encourage you to continue to use the system. Your voice samples are vital in helping us make the recognition better. Back to Top
