Not at all! If you sign up Video Call, you pay from just over $6 more per month to upgrade your current fixed line voice service to enjoy video calls on top of your voice calls on your fixed line. And you get FREE Incoming Video calls and up to 60mins FREE Outgoing Video Calls.

All the Video Call plans come with free bundled talktime that you can use for outgoing video calls. So you don't pay for video calls until you have fully utilised your free bundled talktime.

What do I need in order to subscribe to the Video Call on Fixed Line Service?
You will need to be a SingTel Fixed Line subscriber in order to subscribe to Video Call on Fixed Line Service.

Can I retain the same telephone number if I subscribe to Video Call on Fixed Line Service?
Yes, you can keep your current telephone number.

Why do I need a modem for this Service?
This is because the video call service rides on Internet Technology.

Do I need to be a BroadBand subscriber to subscribe to the Service?
All BroadBand users in Singapore can enjoy this Service. We have offered packages for both BroadBand and non-BroadBand customers to take up this Service. SingTel will enable your line to ensure customers can use the video call service even if you are not an ADSL BroadBand Customer.

If I have a Broadband Service on my existing Fixed Line, can I use the same line for Video Call on Fixed Line Service?
If your existing line is with SingNet Broadband Unlimited Plan, You may use the same Broadband line for the Video Call on Fixed Line Service. You will need another line for the Service if the Broadband Service is not under SingNet (Unlimited Plan).

Who can I make video calls with?
You can have video conversation with anyone who have SingTel Mobile 3G mobile phone, SingTel Video Phone and Video Call on BroadBand users.

Can I make voice calls with Video Call?
Yes. SingTel Fixed Line call charges applies when you are calling a Singapore registered Fixed Line or mobile number, wherever you are.

This means you get free incoming voice calls, and outgoing voice calls at 1.5cents/min (Standard rates, weekdays 8am - 6pm) and 0.75cents/min (Economy rates, weekdays 6pm - 8am, and weekend whole day).

What is my telephone number when I subscribe to Video Call Service?
It will be the same number as your current Fixed Line number as Video Call Service is a Value Added Service of Fixed Line.

Can I bring the video phone overseas and make video calls?
As long as you can establish a broadband connection overseas, you can make video calls to your friends in Singapore as if you are making a local video calls and you will not incur IDD charges.
