SingTel Wireless BroadBand Access Service utilises the Wireless LAN (WLAN) technology (compliant to IEEE 802.11b standard) to provide wireless broadband Internet access with speeds of up to 512 kbps for downstream and 256 kbps for upstream via any terminal device that supports WLAN. The service is available within SingTel Wireless Surf Zones island-wide including places such as fast-food restaurants, cafes, hotel and country clubs. This service will be brought to you through the various participating Service Providers which includes licensed Facility Based Operators (FBOs) and/or Service Based Operators (SBOs). |
