Telephony - Transfer of Ownership

Please walk in to any of our Customer Service Counters.

Transfer will only be processed if application forms are duly signed by both Transferor and Transferee.


Age Eligibility

Singapore Citizens / Permanent Residents

  • Transferee must be at least 17 years of age.
  • Transferee aged between 17 - 20 years,
    - are allowed only 1 Telephone Line (or Direct Exchange Line, DEL) per NRIC
    - are provided services with local usage only; and
    - are barred from outgoing STD, IDD, Operator Assisted (104), Audio line (1900) and incoming International Collect calls.

Foreigners

  • Transferee must be above 21 years of age.
  • Transferee on social visit, must provide tenancy agreement or document as proof of ownership of property in Singapore.

Foreigners Deposit
A minimum deposit of $200 per line is required for Foreigners with

  • Work permit;
  • Social pass;
  • Student pass;
  • Dependent pass;

Transfer Fee
The Transferee will be charged a one-time transfer fee of $20 ($21.40 with 7% GST). Transfer fee is waived for bankruptcy and deceased cases.

Important Notes

  • Both the Transferor and the Transferee must settle all outstanding balance in their accounts with the SingTel group before proceeding with the transfer.
  • There will be no refund of subscription fee if the line is transferred within the 1st 3 months binding period.
  • Unless otherwise stated, transfer applications are processed based on the understanding that the Transferee agrees to bill to his/her existing account number and billing address.
  • Transferee can request for another account number provided the billing address is the same as the existing account number.
