mio Mobile service, using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), is a technology that allows you to use the Internet connection for your mobile calls by sending the voice data in packets using IP rather than through the local telephone switch.

mio Mobile is a unique service in its kind which combines the mobility of cellular and the cost-effectiveness of wireless broadband. mio Mobile service will allow our customers to make unlimited local calls over the Internet using their VoIP-enabled devices.
