The iPass connection software contains an international phone book with iPass access points and login information. A simple point-and-click interface acts as an "assistant" and creates a connection to the Internet based on the country, city and phone number selected.

How Much Will it Cost?

There is no registration fee or monthly subscription for iPass service, you pay only when you use the roaming service. The charges include a longin charge of *S$5.00 and a Traffic Charge (determined by the period of time you are online).

Eg. If you travel to Houston, USA, and login twice through iPass roaming network with your SingNet account, the charges will be as below:

Houston: S$0.25 per min	1st Login	2nd Login
Login Charge	S$5.00*	0
Traffic Charge (Dial-up)	S$0.25 X 30mins = S$6.50	S$0.25 X 20mins = S$5.00
Total	S$11.50	S$5.0

This charge is only applicable for the month when iPass roaming service is used. Regardless of how many logins were made within the month, the charge will still be S$5.00.

Therefore the total charges will be S$16.50. The charges for the iPass Global Internet Roaming service will be on a monthly basis and will form part of your monthly invoice statement from SingNet.
