        • Select the country you are in (Note: This dialog box uses "type ahead"; type the first few letters of the word you are looking for) and enter the area code from where you are calling.
      5. Click OK when you are done.

If you are using your calling card, see Using a calling card (below)

Note: You do not need to choose this again unless you have more than one modem on your PC and want to switch between them
      • Select Automatically update phonebook to enable automatic phonebook updating
      • Click OK when done

    5. On the iPassConnect window, select the Country and region you are dialing from

      IMPORTANT
      :
You must select the country you are in and the country you are dialing from. If you select "Singapore", you can still get connected to the Internet but this is not the same as making a local call and you have actually made an IDD call all the way back to Singapore from where you are currently! This is not the economical way to use the roaming service.

SingNet will not be responsible for any IDD charges that you have incurred in this way and you would have to bear such IDD charges if you do so.

      To connect,
Simply click Connect which is found on the iPassConnect window after setting up the above.

Once authentication is achieved, a connection icon (iPass logo) appears in the bottom right corner of the Windows Taskbar. Select and right-click this icon for viewing connection information and disconnecting the connection.
